Programs

Little Sisters United - Acts as mentors to middle school girls and provide social and cultural awareness

Make Someone’s Christmas - Adopts families and provide clothing, toys, and gifts for Christmas

Ronald McDonald House - Donates canned goods and non-perishable food to stock the panty of the Ronald McDonald House for the sick children. Food used by families of sick children who stay in the House during the illness of the child.

Angel Tree Project - Christmans celebration, camp sponsorhip, and one on one mentoring for children of incareated parents

Health Initiative - information shared with members about health related issues that affect the black commumity

Nursing Home Projects - visits two nursing homes monthly and play bingo with the residents. Donates gifts for the seniors at Christmas

Salvation Army - Kettle Fund Project Participates annually in the Salvation Army bell-ringing activity at area grocery stores

Literacy Project - Participates with the Prince George's County Literacy Council in teaching adults and children to read

Race for the Cure - Participates in Annaul Race for the Cure which homors breast cancer survivors and raises funds for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs
